Seven to ten, seven days, at regular rates.

KAC Express fixes, fits and replaces air conditioning and heating around Spring and north Houston. Call before two in the afternoon and someone is out the same day.

The working day

Everything this company promises is a time.

Not a slogan, a schedule. Fifteen hours a day, every day of the week, and the evening and weekend end of it charged the same as a Tuesday morning.

  1. 05:00Answered

A customer's Google review records reaching KAC at five in the morning and getting an answer, an arrival window, and an arrival at that window.

  2. 07:00Open

The working day starts at seven, Monday through Sunday, with no separate weekend line to call.

  3. 14:00Same-day cutoff

Call before two in the afternoon and KAC promises to be out that same day to look at the fault.

  4. 22:00Still open

Ten at night, seven days, at regular rates. Late evenings are not billed as overtime.

After the call

What the same day actually looks like.

Four stations, in the order they happen. Most of this job is somewhere you will never stand, which is exactly why it gets photographed.

01

The call, and the window

You describe what the system is doing. You get an arrival window on that call, not a promise to call back with one. Before 2:00 PM and the window is the same day.

02

Up in the attic, where it actually lives

In most Spring houses the air handler and the furnace are in the attic, which is where the leaks, the blocked drains and the failed float switches are too. That is the first place the inspection goes.

Supply plenum and return drop with mastic sealed along every seam

03

The number, before the tool

The fault gets explained and the job gets priced flat rate. You agree to a figure and that is the figure on the invoice. If someone else has already quoted you, this is where a second opinion goes.

04

Sealed, tested, and left tidy

Seams get mastic rather than a wrap of tape. Drains get run properly. The new plenum gets dated so the next person to open the attic knows what year they are looking at.

Four hundred and twenty one of these

The late end of the day is the part customers write about.

My air conditioning went out in the middle of the night, and I was able to reach Trung at 5:00 AM. To my surprise, he answered right away, gave me a timeframe for arrival, and showed up exactly when he said he would.

My old r22 system finally went to hvac heaven 24 hours ago, kac just left my house after completely rebuilding and improving my system in a matter of hours with trane equipment!!!!!

I called after hours for two AC issues on both of my units and their technician arrived within an hour. The service was fast, professional, and the issues on both of my units were resolved. KAC is reliable, responsive, and always delivers outstanding work.

His recommendation was to replace the AC, and after comparing prices with others in the area, his quote was actually below average. On top of that, he was able to get everything done the same day, which was a lifesaver.

Before you call

The questions that come up on the phone.

Ten at night, any day of the week. The phone is answered from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday to Sunday, and evenings and weekends inside those hours are charged at the same rates as a Tuesday morning. Holidays are by appointment.

If you call before 2:00 PM, yes. That is a promise KAC Express publishes: call before two in the afternoon and a technician will be out that same day to look at the fault. Later than that and the appointment usually lands next day.

Yes. KAC Express quotes flat rate and gives you the number for the job before anyone picks up a tool, so the figure you agree to is the figure you pay. There are no hourly surprises added at the end.

New customers get fifty dollars off their first repair. It comes off the invoice on that first visit, and it is a standing offer rather than a seasonal promotion.

Ask for a second opinion. KAC Express will look at the same system and tell you what it actually needs, which is worth doing before you agree to a replacement that a repair would have covered.

Both. Repairs on any make or model, and full changeouts including the furnace, the coil, the outdoor unit and the ductwork around them. Financing with monthly payments and zero percent APR on qualifying systems is available through Synchrony.

Spring first, then The Woodlands, Klein, Tomball, Conroe, Shenandoah, Oak Ridge North, Porter, New Caney, Kingwood, Humble and Atascocita. If you are close to that line, call and ask.

Still open, still answering.

New customers get fifty dollars off a first repair. If another contractor has already quoted you, ask for a second opinion before you agree to it.
